BRING YOUR CHILDREN TO CHURCH!

It is with profound joy that we welcome into our parish brothers Malvin and Brian.  After many months of spiritual growth and transformation, during which  both young men  prepared for their entrance into our faith, they professed their faith in Christ and fulfilled the necessary requirements and became Orthodox Christians and are now able to receive all the sacraments.   May God Bless them both abundantly!    “Have mercy on me, O Lord.  Strengthen my soul; govern the rest of my life towards Your will, as Your compassion and love for humankind know best.”   (St. Basil the Great)

Happy Birthday to all who are celebrating their birthday in May.  The following are included in the May celebrants:  Richard Paul Rahnefeld on May 27 and Grace Petelski on May 29.   May God grant them both Many Years!

Helen Baron, our coordinator for the food pantry, wants to thank everyone for their generous support in supplying food and money throughout the year  However, the need is persistent so please continue your support and help re-stock the now empty shelves.  Thank you for your help.

We pray for all our fellow parishioners and especially for those who are experiencing ill health.  Please keep in your prayers our brothers and sisters in Christ: Genevieve B., Margaret K., Effie S., Maryann S.,  Astrid S,, Richard and Janet W., and Janice P.  Also, please pray for the recovery of  Maria Valentina F.  and Kathy C. both who are now recovering from surgery.

Lord, to You I lift up my voice:  Stretch forth Your powerful arm.  Send down from heaven Your healing power.  Touch my sick body.  Bless the means used for my recovery and those who administer them.  To You, Lord Jesus, I direct my prayer, and trusting in Your mercy and love, I offer all worship and adoration to You, and the eternal Father and the most Holy Spirit now and ever and unto ages of ages Amen.  My hope is the Father.  My refuge is the Son.  My protection is the Holy Spirit,   Blessed Trinity, glory to Thee.  (Prayer Collection by Fr. Anthony M. Coniaris)
