Christopher Bzik, shown above with his sister, Joanna, and his mother, Linda, will be attending Lehigh University in the fall. He is the recipient of a four-year fellowship for a doctorate in Global Management Logistics. Christopher graduated Elmwood Park High School with honors in 1999 and this year, he is graduating New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark with a 3.91 average in Industrial Engineering. His father, Michael, was working and not available when the picture above was taken. May God grant Christopher and his family Many Years and may He also grant Christopher much success and happiness in the future.

Church School:
First Confession will be on Saturday, June 7 at 1:00 p.m. Church School and Parish Confessions will be held at that time also for all those wishing to go.

The last church school class will be on Sunday, June 1. Attendance awards will be presented in church at the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy on Sunday, June 8.

Bring your stuff to our YARD SALE on June 7. Remember, your toss-aways may be someone else's treasures. It will be held in the parking lot across from the church. Hot dogs and soda will be sold. Spaces are still available for $20 each. Our next meeting will be on Sunday, June 8.

The district is hosting many events in June. Singac will host a beer tasting on June 7. Glen Gardner is in charge of the annual family miniature golf outing on June 7. Glen Gardner is also having a formal dinner on June 20 as a fund raiser for their church. Information on these and other events are on the "O" Club Web Site.

Daniel, a Dream, a Den, a Deliverer

A group trip is being planned to attend a performance of Sight and Sound in Strasburg, Pa. on October 18, 2003. Sight and Sound has been presenting inspirational entertainment for 26 years and audiences have been captivated by the scope of the creativity that goes into the productions. Included in the package for the day is a luncheon at Stoltzfus Farm Restaurant. They are located in the heart of Lancaster County known as Pennsylvania Dutch Country. The peaceful farm setting features a delicious family style meal. The cost is $107 per person. Tickets to parishioners of St. John's are discounted.
