A Prayer Service with the Trisagion for the Departed was held at the chapel in East Ridgelawn Cemetery on Saturday, Nov. 10. The chapel had recently been renovated and an Icon of the Resurrection was donated to the chapel in remembrance of Michael Stashitsky by his wife Eva and family.
It is always fun to photograph small children. Recently we had some small visitors to our church and decided to gather them together with some of our own little parishioners and take a group photo. There weren’t many, but with the gathering, smiling and finally getting the shot, it was a happy memory captured. Our visitors were Elena and Hannah Marie LeBorgne, daughters of Amy and Tom LeBorgne of North Carolina. Elena and Hannah are pictured here with mother, Amy. Amy is the daughter of parishioners Peggy and Nick Kovalycsik. Our little parishioners are Daniel and Gregory, sons of Juliana and Matthew Kary. Matthew is the son of Barbara and John Kary of Wallington. Helping arrange the children is Juliana’s mother, Matushka Clara Mancantelli, visiting from Montana. Also pictured is Joey Manzo son of Dominic and Rebecca Manzo of Wallington.
