Church School.............
Church School begins on September 19. On the schedule this year will be our annual Yolka that allows our young people to demonstrate their many talents. Trips will be planned for sporting events and perhaps an entertainment event. However, the most important aspect of our program is to teach the lessons that will enable our children to live a loving and faithful Orthodox Christian life. At every age level, from children to adults, Orthodox Christians are called to witness to their faith: sometimes by clarifying how or why they are the same or different, correcting misconceptions and wrong information, bearing witness through friendship, being a good neighbor, reaching out to help others, standing up for others who are being taunted or are victims of discrimination or prejudice, and by becoming living examples and advocates of Christian love and behavior. It is the responsibility of the parents to have your children attend. Jesus said, "Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven." (Matt. 19:14)
