"Choose Life", a publication printed by the National Right to Life Committee, is now available in the church office. You can pick up a copy of the May/June 2004 issue any Sunday until supplies last.

Please notify Fr. Royer at least two weeks in advance when requesting a Parastas.
Please notify Fr. Royer as soon as possible if you are hospitalized for anything other than a same-day procedure.
The "O" Club met on Sunday, June 27, following Divine Liturgy. Discussed at the meeting was the up coming National FOCA (Fellowship of Orthodox Christians in America) Convention to be held in Buffalo in July. Also discussed at this meeting was the NJ District Convention that we will be hosting in November, 2005. Plans for our bus trip to Atlantic City on September 12 are completed and tickets for the trip will be on sale soon. You can see Nancy Filak or anyone of our members for more information.
Sunday, June 20 was Father's Day and at St. John's we celebrated our Dads by giving them each a pen distributedt by our Church School. More pictures are on the pictures' page.
Preliminary work has been done on the parking lot located between the church and School #14. A large hole formed in the area of the parking lot that was recently renovated. This has been filled in, however, paving will be done soon to allow the filled in area to settle.
Awards Presented at Program at School #14..........
On Monday, June 28, awards given by St. Johns were presented to students at an award assembly at the School.
Anna Mae Beckmann, President of the Board of Trustees, and Father Royer presented a $25 American Express Gift Certificate to the top student of each of the 10 classes at the school. Pictures of the event were taken by Nancy Filak and will be seen on our pictures page in the near future.

Happy Birthday.............
Best wishes go to Mrs. Ann Michota who celebrated her 95th birthday on June 28. Father Royer will present her with an icon and the church sent her a bouquet of flowers in appreciation for all her efforts and work on behalf of St. Johns in the past. God grant her many years!
