April is a busy month. On April 10, the Women’s Club sponsored a Lenten Luncheon for our parishioners. It was a great opportunity for all of us to spend time with one another and enjoy a delicious meal as well.
On April 16, several women from the Women’s Club came together for the day and baked breads for the parish. The end result was a delicious bread for many of our parishioners and a day well spent for the women.
The Church School students joined in the Orthodox Christian Mission Center coin box drive and asked parishioners to help them in this effort by filling boxes. The response was impressive and it turned out to be a great lesson for the students, not only by giving their own contributions, but also by distributing the boxes, collecting them and counting the donations as well.
