A question and answer session will follow each presentation and refreshments will be served. The schedule follows: April 7, Father Michael Plekon will speak at St. John’s Russian Orthodox Church in Singac; April 14, Father Alexander Menn, His Grace, Bishop Seraphim of Sendal will be at the Holy Trinity Church in Randolph; and on April 21, Father David Garretson will speak at Ss. Pardon our Appearance.......
Painting of the interior of the church is continuing. Scaffolding has been placed in rear of the nave and you have to manipulate around it when you attend church services. Father and the church board urge everyone to use care in getting around the areas. The painting project is due to take another 3 weeks and will include cleaning the Iconastas as well. Hopefully the painting will progress without incident and the inconvenience will be of a limited duration. When all is done, it is expected that everyone will enjoy the beautiful church interior as a result of all the efforts in the past two years.
St. John’s will host a Lenten Vesper Service on March 27 at 4:00 p.m. Refreshments will be served following the service.
