Women's Club Luncheon.......
Following Divine Liturgy on Sunday, January 30, the Women's Club officers elected for the year 2005 were installed. The officers are Peggy Kovalycsik, President; Helen Baron, Vice-President; Betty Czech, Recording Secretary; Betty Fechisin, Correspondence Secretary; and Dorothy Fabian, Treasurer. The officers, members of the club and their families enjoyed the delicious dinner at Michael’s in Lyndhurst following the installation. Plans for a parish Lenten luncheon to be served in the hall during Great Lent and an upcoming bus trip to AC will be discussed at their next meeting to be held in February. May they keep up the good work and may God grant all of them Many Years!

Installation of Parish Officers
Florence Junda, our food pantry coordinator, recently requested food items that are urgently needed by St. Peter’s Haven to replenish their food supply. The need to help those who are unable to help themselves is always present. Please help by bringing some of the following items to church and placing them in the food basket in the vestibule. Florence will assure that they will go to those who are most in need. The items are: Canned meats and fish, tuna, Spam, corned beef hash, chili, stew, canned salmon and chicken. Canned vegetables, kidney beans, potatoes, port and beans; tomato products – tomato sauce, whole tomatoes, tomato paste, puree, spaghetti sauce; peanut butter and jelly; packages or boxes of rice, macaroni and other pastas, packaged macaroni and cheese; dry beans and peas; canned juices – orange, grapefruit, tomato or apple; canned fruit in light syrup; milk – powdered, condensed and evaporated; staples – salt, flour, sugar, low sodium foods, low sugar foods; and soups; bath soap, toothpaste. May God grant Florence and all those who donate Many Years!
Please mark your calendar and attend our Annual Parish Meeting on February 27 following Divine Liturgy. A lunch will be served at the mid point of the meeting. It is important that every parishioner be present to help elect the officers and members of the Board of Trustees for the next two years so please plan to attend.
Please take note that Divine Liturgy on February 20 will begin at 9:30 a.m.
