Sunday, December 4, the Passaic “O” Club hosted the annual St. Andrew/St. Nicholas Vespers sponsored by the New Jersey District of the Fellowship of Orthodox Christians in
A Lenten meal was served in the church hall following Vespers. Gathering together, everyone enjoyed the fellowship. Ted Gregory, governor of our district who was present with his wife Lorissa, thanked everyone for their generosity during the collection held at the end of the service. The money collected at this service each year is contributed toward the scholarship fund organized by the district to help qualified junior members with school expenses.
Thanks go to all the “O” Club members and the parishioners who, working together, contributed their time and effort to making this a successful event. It was wonderful to see the cooperation of the kitchen crew who prepared the food and distributed it. Afterwards, they all stayed and became the clean up crew. To all the clergy and those who attended, and to all those who helped, may God grant all of you Many Years!
