On May 14, prayers for our living Moms were offered and Memory Eternal sung for all our Moms who have fallen asleep in the Lord.  They were also given a gift by Kathy Petrow following the Divine Liturgy.  Pictures taken on Mother’s Day are shown in the Picture Gallery along with those taken on Father’s Day.   May God grant all our Moms and Dads Many Years!

Our heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the newlyweds David and Tania Baron, who were married on June 4, and to their proud parents Steven and Helen Baron.  May God bless your new family and all your loved ones with abundant health, peace and prosperity for Many Years!  Mnohaja Lita!

June 12 was little Sofia Kseniuk’s third birthday.  Following Divine Liturgy on Sunday June 11,  little Sofia was the center of attention at her party hosted by her parents, Father Igor and Matushka Anna and her brother Maxim.  Parishioners and friends were invited to enjoy a delicious lunch and a birthday cake for dessert.  May God grant Sofia, Maxim, Mat. Anna and Fr.Igor Many Years!

Father’s Day was June 18 and to celebrate our Dads, grandfathers, God-fathers, uncles, and brothers, Kathy Cahayla gave each of them a bottle of wine.  Prayers were offered for our living Dads and Memory Eternal sung for those who have fallen asleep in the Lord.

The Food Pantry is always in need of food items.  Please keep those less fortunate in mind and help us to feed those in need.  A basket is in the vestibule of the church for your convenience.  May God bless you abundantly for your generosity.

Enjoy your vacation but remember to visit the Orthodox Church at your destination.  To search for a local parish, go to http://orthodoxyinamerica.org and enter your location in the search panel.  Father Igor also reminds you to be sure that the priest knows who you are before the Divine Liturgy if you intent to receive Holy Communion.  Have a wonderful and safe summer!
