News From our 100th Anniversary Committee.............

Plans for our 100th Anniversary are proceeding nicely. However, recently we have been receiving donations from many people with remembrances to honor those who are deceased.  We heartedly thank them all for their gifts and will acknowledge their support by adding them to a listing in our banquet program.   If you would like be included in this listing, please contact Ms. Betty Ann Fechisin at StJohns100th@gmail.com    or send her a note at 83 Christie Avenue, Clifton, NJ 07011.

Christ is present now, always, and forever in His Church. The bishops, priests, and deacons receive the gift of the Holy Spirit to manifest Christ in the Sprit to men.

“I rejoiced when they said to me: Let us go into the house of the Lord. I come into your house with thanksgiving and praise, O Lord. Lead me, O Lord, in the paths of Your righteousness, make Your way straight before me that with a pure heart and a clean mind I may glorify You forever, One Godhead worshipped in Three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.”

Through the bishops, priests, and deacons in the Church, Christ acts as teacher, Himself proclaiming the divine words of the Father to men. He acts as the good shepherd, the one pastor who guides His flock. He acts as the forgiver and healer, remitting sins and curing the ills of men, physical, mental and spiritual. May God bless all these wonderful bishops, priests and deacons with Many Years! For those who have fallen asleep in the Lord, may their Memory be Eternal. Pictures are in the Photo Gallery.

Great Vespers for Sunday Divine Liturgy -  “What is man that You remember him, or the son of man that You visit him? You made him a little lower than the angels; You crowned him with glory and honor, You set him over the works of Your hands; You subjected all things under his feet,...
