The 16^th All-American Council opened Monday evening, October 31 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Bellevue, Washington.  Father Royer is attending and will return on Friday, November 4.  Please contact Fr. Kaznica from Ss Peter and Paul Cathedral in Passaic in case of an emergency. 

The All-American Council is composed of the Church’s hierarchs, clergy and lay delegates from parishes, seminaries, and monastic communities, and observers.   It is the highest legislative body of the Orthodox Church in America.

Also in the news is the announcement of the new Chancellor.  On Friday, October 21, 2011, Archpriest John A. Jillions accepted the position of Chancellor of the OCA.  To read more about Father John, please click here.
