The feast of Christ's Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem, Palm Sunday, is one of the twelve major feasts of the Church.  Jesus is entering Jerusalem as King, acclaimed by joyful shouts of praise and, on this feast, remembering those who placed palms on the path before Him, branches of willows or palms are blessed.  Parishioners carry the willows throughout the service and later take them home to be placed in a special place.  A note:  to enlarge the pictures, please move your curser slowly over the first, or any picture, especially around the edge of the photo, until you find the hand with the pointing finger.  Click on the hand and you should be able to enlarge the photo.  When you have the enlarged photo, just click on the arrows under the picture to go on to the others.
