It was our pleasure to greet His Grace, Bishop Michael to our church on the Holy Day of the Exaltation of the Precious and Life-Giving Cross on September 14. Following the Divine Liturgy, we joined together for a light luncheon in the hall.
Appearing to the Myrrh-bearing Women at the tomb, the Angel exclaimed: “Myrrh is meet for the dead; but Christ has shown Himself a stranger to corruption. So proclaim: ‘The Lord is risen, granting the world great mercy.’”
